Community History
For the past seven decades, the Grantham Optimist Club has proudly supported Niagara’s youth in a variety of ways. Over the years, we have provided youth with various opportunities to help build leaders for tomorrow through our sports leagues, oratorical contests, community fundraisers and events.
Currently, we support youth through our Softball Program, volunteer opportunities, Central Ontario Leadership conference sponsorship, Ron FRENCH Scholarship Program and more.
We are the proud home of a youth choir, Tomorrow’s Voices; a non-profit providing free school lunches across Niagara, Community Crew; and the 57th Scouts.
We are thankful for the ongoing community support we have received over the years that has allowed us to make a difference!
We proud to announce that Grantham Optimist Club will be hosting a Golf Tournament on June 22, 2024 to celebrate our milestone of 70 years in our community and further support these initiatives. We are looking for community partners to help with raffle donations, sponsorship and to come out to play!
