The Grantham Optimist Club Would Like To Thank The Following Community Organizations For Their Help And Participation In Improving Our Club:
" We are dedicated to providing nutritious lunches and hope throughout the school year to children who need it most. But it’s more than just lunches. Our program helps to empower children, and unite businesses and supporters through community engagement. By working together, we help inspire and nurture our leaders of tomorrow by providing them with the tools and knowledge to help make a difference. "

With the generous aid of the Performance Auto Group, the Grantham Optimist Club was able to upgrade our Softball League facility's benches and bleachers.
Performance Auto Group was also our co-sponsor of our 2018 Family Appreciation Softball Event, donating both their time and delicious hotdogs to feed our hungry players.
"Ontario Trillium Capitol Project Grant was successfully awarded to the Grantham Optimist Club for improvements to their four baseball fields. The grant has been used to replace all of the existing fencing, backstop, safety infrastructure, and general park equipment, improving the facility that has been providing softball and other youth activities since 1954.
The Grantham Optimist Club conducts numerous service projects serving hundreds of young people annually, such as, youth softball, scouting, beavers, and oratorical competitions for St. Catharines elementary schools and during the 63 years of operating, an excess of 60, 000 youth have participated in the Club's programs.
Understanding that there is a direct link between strong community programs and healthy communities the Grantham Optimist Club is proud to partner with the Ontario Trillium Foundation in continuing to fulfill these programs and achieve long term success."
- Mike ANDERSON, Grantham Optimist Club - Softball League Chair, 2019
