The Grantham Optimist Club is always proud to be continuously working with you, the youth of our community.
The Grantham Optimist Club, being a non-profit organization, has many opportunities to award credit hours for volunteering with us, as well as, the opportunity to learn new skills, network, and build your resume. Moreover, all volunteer time will be credited towards the Grantham Optimist Memorial Ron FRENCH Scholarship Awards Program as well.
This program is not limited to students requiring hours, any youth looking to volunteer is welcome to apply.

Are you a high school student looking to give back to your community and earn volunteer hours?
We would LOVE to have you!
We have many opportunities at special events and with our softball program.
A teacher reference allows us to get to know you a bit better and confirm your school and grade.
If you have any special interests, please share as we may have different opportunities as well! (Ex. photography, art, sports, music etc).

Help Grantham Optimist Members cook BBQ foods, take orders, and restock supplies for our Grantham Optimist Softball Program cookouts.
Help run our Grantham Optimist Softball Program Snack Booth during our weeknight games. Complete mixed orders, resupply stock, and interact with our GO community.
Help coach in our youth in our Grantham Optimist Softball Program. Help our youth learn softball skills, organize the team, and participate in ball-strategy during game days.
